Why Purpose Matters
As Christ followers, we're called to live out our faith in a way that reflects God's love and compassion for others in all areas of our lives.
One of the most powerful ways we can do this is by helping others succeed, even in business, as business coaches in the marketplace. But why is this so important, and what drives our desire to see others thrive?
The Bible clearly states our responsibility to help others. In Galatians 5:13-14, we're told, "Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not people...". Similarly, in Matthew 25:40, Jesus says, "Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
So, why do we want to help others succeed in business? It's not just about being nice or doing good deeds. It's about living out our faith with purpose and intentionality.
When we help others succeed, we're reflecting God's heart of love and compassion. We also fulfill our calling as Christ's followers to serve and love others. It’s the “why” behind the “what.”
The Impact of Helping Others:
When we help others succeed, the impact can be profound.
We can:
Build relationships: By investing in others, we build meaningful and lasting relationships.
Foster community: When we help others succeed, we create a sense of community and belonging.
Glorify God: By living out our faith practically, we bring glory to God and reflect His love to others.
Practical Ways to Add Value and Encourage Others as a Faith-driven Coach:
For Prospects:
Offer valuable insights: Share relevant advice or expertise to help them overcome a challenge or achieve their goals.
Listen actively: Take the time to truly listen to their concerns and aspirations, and show that you care.
Provide resources: Share relevant resources, such as blog posts, videos, or podcasts, that can help them learn and grow.
For Clients:

Encourage them to be bold: Inspire them to take calculated risks and face their fears, knowing that growth lies beyond their comfort zone.
Emphasize the importance of perseverance: Remind them that challenges are a natural part of the journey and that persistence and determination are key to overcoming obstacles.
Celebrate their wins: Acknowledge and celebrate their successes, no matter how small they may seem.
Speak life and encouragement: Offer heartfelt encouragement and support, reminding them they are capable and empowered to achieve their goals.
